7 February 2014Testing of high end sound systems has typically been done with very expensive tools like Smaart, TEF, MLSSA, etc. The necessary investment in software licenses, computers, interfaces, and test microphones has been astronomical. There are now cheaper effective options that run from an iPhone/iPad. I use Audio Tools with the in-app Transfer Function purchase (about $100 together). This connects to an Apple USB camera dongle and a Art USB Dual Pre interface. The Art allows me to input an original signal on one interface and have a reference microphone on the other. I use either a dBx reference mic or an iSK CM-20Q omni pencil condenser - both produce very useable results. The end effect is that I can see how my sound system is really performing in a room, and clearly see the necessary EQ or speaker positioning adjustments that need to be made. As I make the adjustments I can see what is occuring as it happens. All with about a $300 investment rather than $3000. Swamp rocks!

George (Sales) and Tom (Managing Director) communicated directly with me on each occasion, and could not be more helpful if they tried !! Swamp is now my first choice go-to supplier for all my audio needs.

4 January 2014Product as always was of a high quality and shipped very promptly HOWEVER as for the service of "Couriers" I think you are wasting your money SWAMP paying for premium service, for the second time the driver couldn't be bothered coming to the door, left a note in letterbox because he was busy over holiday period, meant I waited almost 12 days for dedlivery. This isn't the first time this has happened with these couriers

20 December 2013Ordered a mixer on 3rd Dec 2013 and was advised it was posted on 4th Dec. I sent an email on the 14th Dec to advise not received and received a apology saying it was an admin error and overlooked but was posted on the 14th by normal mail. I would have considered that because of their error they would have sent it express but not so. Still have not received it by today 20th Dec. Disappointed as I am a regular customer. Usually good service.
