Enya X2 Solid Spruce
Spruce is among the most widely used tonewoods because of its suitability to many styles of playing. The tight grain pattern found in spruce makes it stiff but lightweight, translating to a broad tonal range that stands up to aggressive strumming. Features solid AAA Engelmann Spruce top and HPL back & sides. The Guitar Neck is connected via Enya Bolted Neck Junction, integrated with Carbon Fiber sheets into it,which make the guitar neck more strong and straight. The black Richlite Fretboard means no sharp edges and a comfortable, low string action. Includes premium Guitar Case, and Capo.
HPL - Sustainable Materials
With the number of restricted wood species increasing, such as rosewood, innovative guitar manufacturers are constantly striving to invent and utilise differing sustainable and tonal materials in guitar manufacturing. The Martin Guitar Company was the first to produce music instruments utilising HPL (High Pressure Laminate) in the body construction to great success. The Enya Guitar company has taken this technology to the next level, with their black ebony HPL construction for the X2. Using this material means that the instrument is far less likely to affected by humidity and temperature changes, and can provide a much more even and consistent tone.
Richlite - Fingerboards of the Future
Originally developed over 70 years ago, Richlite has proven to be incredibly durable, extremely versatile and a highly sustainable material to use for fingerboards. After two decades of research and discussions with guitarists, Gibson determined that Richlite was not only the best alternative to woods like ebony, but was actually superior. It is also scratch, heat, and stain-resistant, and has better stability and tonal qualities. Many guitar players feel strings bend more smoothly on a Richlite fingerboard.
BT Technology - A Better Way to Adjust the Neck
The neck on the Enya X2 Series guitars is made of mahogany, and uses an incredibly stable system whereby adjusting the strap nut on the heel of the neck, as well as working near the nut, you can adjust the fingerboard quite flexibly. It is integrated with carbon fibre sheets into it, which make the guitar neck more strong and straight.
Optional TransAcoustic Pickup
The Enya AcousticPlus system allows players to add sound effects from the instrument itself, with no external devices needed. The optional S3 pickup system has a built-in actuator, and this groundbreaking technology takes the string vibrations and enhances them to allow players to add chorus, delay and reverb effects from the instrument itself, with no external effects or amplification needed, providing a simple but effective way to process the natural sound. This patented AcousticPlus system covers all the features of an acoustic-electric instrument including being able to plug into an amplifier or other external devices. The same knobs control the output effects.
