The Vonyx VXA-2000 2U 1000W 2-Way Power Amplifier features SMT technology for a very stable circuit and high power output. It also has low noise level and a wide frequency response. It is 19″ rack-mountable and is ideal for use in disco’s, bands, clubs.

High Quality
The Vonyx VXA-2000 is a high-quality Two-Channel 1000W Stereo Power Amplifier for powering your PA system or subwoofers. It features both stereo and bridge modes utilising SMT technology that allows for stable high power output without issues. The high build quality also allows the amp to have a wider frequency response and low noise level, meaning you get a cleaner full-range signal. It has a Signal-to-Noise Ratio of 90dB and an Impedance of 20k Ohms. This front to rear forced airflow amplifier allows you to power your Pro Audio Gear at: (2x 1000W 4Ω  Stereo), (2x 750W 8Ω  Stereo) or (2x 2000W 8Ω  Bridged).

Many Features
The front panel of the VXA-2000 provides essential control and feedback on the performance of the amplifier. Aside from the Power Switch, you will find two independent Volume Controls for each of the two channels. Also present are Signal indicators, Clip indications and Protection Indication. The Signal Indicator has three orange LEDs that indicate the amplifiers output signal levels. Clip Indication LEDs will light up when one or both channels are on max power. It can occur that these LEDs will light up now and then however this is not a problem. But if it lights up continuously then you need to adjust the volume down, otherwise, permanent damage to the equipment may occur. The VXA-2000 also features a Protect Indication that provides feedback on something damaging that might occur to your amplifier. The protection system will switch into protect mode when it detects a fault. The amplifier will disconnect at the point where the damage is about to occur and switch on the protection led to indicate to you that something is wrong. Common reasons such as Bad Ventilation, A low impedance (< 4 Ohm), Defect fan(s), or a short circuit in cables will trigger the protection.

VXA-2000 Input Types
The rear panel of the VXA-2000 offers a multitude of Input and Output options. Two 6.3mm jack female input connectors are present for connecting a signal source such as a mixer. Alternatively, you can use the two RCA input connectors for connecting a signal source. The VXA-2000 can use in 2x different modes such as stereo & bridge modes. The Stereo mode offers Standard left/right stereo mode as Bridge Mode combines both amps on one channel which results in double power on this channel. It connects the signal to the left input channel and the output level can now be adjusted with the left volume control.

The Ground Lift Switch allows for circuit and chassis grounds to be separated in case of a problem with earth loops. This often results in a hum present during amplification.

Output Connection Options
The VXA-2000 provides 2x 6.3mm Jack Outputs with a maximum load in the Stereo Mode of 4 Ohm per channel. You can also use the Binding Post Output Jacks with a maximum load in the Stereo Mode of 4 Ohm per channel. Alternatively, the maximum load in bridge mode is 8 Ohm.

You can also take advantage of the 2x NL4 Speaker Outputs. Here the maximum load in Stereo Mode is 4 Ohm per channel. Lastly, the are Cooling Vent Outlets present, a Mains Power Connector and a Fuse that secures the amplifier and wires against defects.
