Designed with durability and performance in mind, the SU800 features three custom diaphragm capsules that deliver clear and natural sound across different polar patterns. The selectable polar patterns make it suitable for solo recording, two-person interviews, group sessions, and ambient sound capture. The microphone’s wide sampling rate range of 44.1kHz to 192kHz ensures high-quality audio reproduction, while the built-in gain control knob allows for easy adjustments on the fly. The microphone also includes a high-quality headphone amplifier, providing realistic and accurate monitoring through the 3.5mm headphone output.
Intuitive RGB LED Ring Light and Touch Controls
The SU800 features a convenient touch-sensitive mute button located on the top, with an integrated RGB LED ring that illuminates in six different colors. Each polar pattern is color-coded for quick visual confirmation, while the ring turns red when the microphone is muted. Users also have the option to switch off the LED lighting when not needed, making it ideal for low-light environments or professional settings.
