SWAMP DIY Build Your Own Electric Guitar Kit - Explorer Style
One of the coolest guitar styles in rock music, here's your chance to personalise your own explorer! This SWAMP kit brings together all the parts necessary to make a complete guitar, the easiest way to build your first one. All the necessary components of an electric guitar including a pre-wired, wooden body, an assembled and precut neck, and all hardware, screws and accessories are supplied.
The Guitar Body
The Explorer design was first introduced in 1958 and has been famously used by guitarists such as The Edge (U2), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) and James Hetfield (Metallica) – to name just a few! Futuristic at the time of it’s release, the Explorer design still screams Rock! Solid basswood guitar bodies have a big, well-balanced tonality. There's a strong midrange, but also a certain softness and breathiness. On a well-made guitar, basswood can produce good dynamics and definition with enough grind to give the sound a big push - great wood for an explorer!
Full Kit with Electronics
The kit includes the body, neck, pickups, bridge, tailpiece, posts, machine heads (tuners), volume/tone knobs, cavity cover, truss rod cover, strap pins, pots, capacitors, switch, output jack, screws, sleeves, bolts, washers, insulated wire, solder, lead, starter strings, allen key.

Review for the electric explorer style guitar
By: Teigue Alexander on 4 September 2022I recently bought this product for a school project this is my first ever time putting a guitar together it was so much fun to create something that makes such good sounds the pick up quality is pretty good the one problem I encountered with the product was the switch it came with a little pin that needed to be inserted into the hole of the switch I was unsure of how this was supposed to work at first but I got it to work it looks and plays really well I can’t wait to buy another kit from this company :)

Explorer kit
By: paul griffiths on 28 September 2021I recently assembled one of these kits, I found it to be well made and the neck pocket routing was spot on size no shimming required. came together very nicely indeed. The truss rod did require some adjustment and the fret ends needed a little love. I would have no problem recommending this kit
