Stringjoy custom guitar strings are crafted one at a time by Nashville musicians who know that great art is made with great tools. It takes tremendous care, skill, and patience to craft the world’s finest strings, but their focus is on quality, not speed. Through innovative designs, first rate materials, and labour intensive winding techniques, they make it their mission to craft the finest strings in the world, bar none. The key is balanced playability, long lasting tone, and top notch service.

Their process is unique - great guitar strings start with great materials, and at Stringjoy they use only the best. Their high-carbon steel core wire is drawn to exacting tolerances (down to the 10,000th of an inch) right there in Tennessee. They source the wrap wire from different drawers depending on the material type and the particular strengths of each source, but the vast majority of the wrap wire is also sourced from within a 150-mile radius of the Nashville shop. Unlike any other company that thy know of, they vacuum seal all of the wrap wire spools when they arrive to us and in between production runs to ensure that all of the wire remains as fresh as the day it was drawn. Every spool of wire is inspected for gauge accuracy, strength and finish quality before, and during, the winding process. Even though they only work with drawers that do consistently excellent work, no one is perfect, and when it comes to our strings they leave nothing to chance.
