PASGAO Wired Band UHF Directional Antenna
The PA-2280 is a directional antenna that connects to a wireless audio system to boost signal reception and transmission. Often referred to as a "paddle" because of its shape, this type of high sensitivity antenna is used for long distance transmission or where there are multiple systems in use. Often placed in close proximity to the performer or speaker, the antenna increases signal strength and minimises interference. An absolute necessity for large venues, concerts, festivals, event organizers, and audio hire companies.
Simple to set up on a mic stand
To connect the PA-2280, run a coaxial cable (not included) from the wireless unit or combiner to the antenna and latch it onto the in built BNC connector. A mic specifically designed clip is located at the bottom of the PA-2280 which allows it to be connected to a mic stand in the same way that as a mic clip. This is extremely useful when the the antenna needs to be raised above head height to ensure signal integrity and requires a secure mounting fixture.
Add to an Existing System
The PA-2280 can be used in conjunction with the individual PA-80U antenna amplifier, or more effectively with the 8- channel combiner PA-928U antenna amplifier.
