The Paige capo's design is distinctive, lightweight, and durable. It simplifies the process of attaching and changing frets, making it exceptionally user-friendly. Additionally, it includes a practical feature that allows you to store it conveniently above the nut when not in use, ensuring you never misplace it. The capo's controlled tension capabilities are crucial for maintaining your instrument's tuning, which is essential for preserving the integrity of your performance. While many capos traditionally apply pressure from the sides of the neck, the Paige Capo takes a unique approach by applying pressure from the center. This innovative design results in even tension across the strings, creating a consistent and harmonious sound. It also contributes to tuning stability, reducing the risk of unwanted string buzz that can occur with other capos. The P-12E has the same profile as the wide profile 6 string capo (P-6E-W), but also innovatively incorporates thicker/softer tubing which helps compensate for the E, A, D, and G (different height) octave pair strings. This eliminates string buzz and the need for excess pressure which results in detuning.
