Where no earth is required....
By: Anonymous on 28 July 2020I bought this as a small low cost option for a DI. If you are expecting to plug your acoustic guitar into this (with the convenient locking socket) and an xlr in the other end, then think again. It will buzz. just as my bass does. Even out of a pedal. You need an earth somewhere, like an AC powered pedal or something. As I write this, I can't think of an application where there definitely will be an earth - even lots of keyboards run DC power these days...buyer beware. understand your application
