Simple Controls, Complex Tones
Built to last, this mini EQ pedal has a tough-built metal enclosure with heavy duty 3PDT metal stomp switch. This pedal utilises true bypass, meaning that the input jack is connected directly to the output when the pedal is switched off. The sound coming in is totally unaffected by any filter or circuitry and it allows the guitarist to truly differentiate the effect. The large volume and gain knobs make it easy to see and use, and importantly provide a great way of shifting your tone to suit your amp, instruments and the acoustics you are in.

Moen mi eq graphic eq pedal
By: Paul Banks on 2 September 2021The Moen mini eq pedal is an excellent tone shaping solution specifically tailored for guitar. Where it holds a significant advantage over similar units is that it comes equipoed with separate volume and gain controls and this feature allows for some serious fine tuning of your core tone. For instance, say your amp has a natural high mid hump that can't be dialled out, find the frequency on the eq pedal, knock it back then compensate any volume loss with the onboard volume control. Especially useful for single coil guitars, the gain control doesn't add drive per se, it pushes the front end of your amp like a good clean boost. All in all a very useful piece of tone shaping gear that is very reasonably priced, it's compact and built tough and runs very quietly. Highly recommended.
