The Michael Kelly Mod Shop 60 S2 Electric Guitar is fitted with two Seymour Duncan '59 pickups, and embellished with a beautiful striped Ebony top. It features a 211 Mod wiring modification, providing 11 different tones. Roasted maple neck, Grover tuners.

Mod Shop 60 S2
The Mod Shop 60 S2 Duncan is the latest adaptation of MK's classic 1960's designs - a 1960 style guitar with dual humbuckers with Seymour Duncan 59's. The bridge pickup is a full sounding, PAF humbucker with a scooped mid, full bottom and articulate treble attack. The neck pickup has clear and bright attack, sweet sustain, a full low end, boosted high end and scooped mids that provide open, smooth sounds great for clean tones and leads.
It is also equipped with a Kill Switch Mod. This is a new 6 tone wiring mod that incorporates a push/pull volume knob for splitting the coils on the humbuckers, along with a mini-toggle master kill switch. The mini toggle switch allows you to bring in or take additional coils on either the bridge or neck pickups in positions 1 thru 3 of the 5 way selector switch.

Beautiful Design
The Swamp Ash body is capped with a beautiful Striped Ebony. The body also comes equipped with arm and belly cuts to make this guitar super comfortable to play. It comes with a Roasted Maple neck, and boasts a Pau Ferro Fretboard.

The ultimate in versatility and vintage sound, the Seymour Duncan '59 pickup is placed in both the bridge and neck. It succeeds in achieving clarity and defined attack - perfect for your bridge pickup. In the neck position, the '59 takes a scooped and smoother sound. Your leads will have a sweeter sound but will still maintain that punch you want to cut through. Probably the best known pickup company in the world, Seymour Duncan is a leader. They earn that position daily with great pickups. Michael Kelly worked with Seymour Duncan to find just the right pickups for this model.
