MG-2 Condenser Conference Microphone
The MG-2 conference microphone is a uni-directional condenser mic with a long pick-up range, ideal for meetings, conferences and public speaking. Phantom power (48V) is required for operation (supplied through most mixing consoles).
Please note: Although the microphone can be detatched from the XLR socket on the base unit, this microphone only works properly when attached to the base unit as the base contains additional gain circuitry designed to boost the microphone signal up to use-able levels for the mixing desk or pre-amp.

Cheap but sounds great
By: Anonymous on 6 July 2017These are not my first lectern/conference microphones. BUT they are certainly the quietest. I have a set of other mics that have a noise floor considerably higher that the MG-1, yes they have a neat red LED to show they're "on" but that is really their only redeeming feature. If I was just using for PA I could cope, but for recording conference content, the MG-1 are so much quieter. Oh and the MG-1 work out at one third the price !!!
