The Extreme Metal guitar pedal is designed primarily to be used in place of an amplifier when you are recording direct into your computer, or plugging straight into the mixing desk in a PA system. Authentically replicating some of the most recognisable metal tones often heard through Peaveys, Engels or Marshalls, this pedal is a great time and space saver when you need to capture that real heavy metal guitar tone in your recordings, but don't have the facilities or budget to spend on mic'ing up the real thing at the high volume to produce the same tones.
3 Band EQ with Level, Drive and Voice controls
By using a combination of EQ and tonal adjustments, the JF-17 pedal enables you to move from the classic scooped sound, through the real crunchy sound, and to the completely overdriven, high boost sounds, produce most types of metal tones along the way. Whether beginning with the cleaner tone with the Drive down or with an overdriven tone for solo's (Drive up), you can adjust and engage the independent boost switch when you need the extra surge of power for the big riff or solo. No matter what metal style you are after, you will find the Extreme Metal amp emulator pedal to be a highly impressive unit.
True Analogue - No Digital Clip
The advantage of using a pedal like this, apart from the impressive and versatile tones, is that it is a true analogue build. So unlike most digital guitar amp emulators found on computer software, this pedal will not produce the annoying digitised clipping sound when overdriving to the max.
