JF-320 Purple Storm - Fuzz
The Purple Storm is a widely adjustable fuzz that utilises a triode transistor to create the MOSFET clipping sound for smooth old fashioned grain and sustain. The added bias control adds further nuance to your distortion sound. The tonal possibilities range from a warm fuzzy sound to rough and screeching. Includes a true bypass to minimize tone loss.
Protective Flip Cover
All of the Ironman series pedals feature a tough plastic cover that flips over the controls to protect your carefully dialed in settings from wayward feet, effectively offering a practical set and forget tone solution!

Versatile tones and works with buffers!
By: Anonymous on 30 July 2022If you want a vintage leaning fuzz, this one is pretty good. The biggest feature of this pedal for me is that it works with buffers and wireless systems. The majority of buffer-friendly fuzzes out there are op amp / diode based - it was almost impossible to find a transistor-based fuzz that would work with my wireless. It's pretty usable across most of its range. Just don't turn the fuzz dial all the way up - at the maxed out position, the output suddenly becomes super noisy. I found this interactive demo very useful: https://www.tonepedia.com/catalog/effects-and-pedals/fuzz/jf-320-purple-storm/
