Great product
By: Alex on 23 September 2016Heavy solidly built this mic does exactly what a drum mic should do - pickup exactly what it's pointing at with minimal bleed from the room. It does this as well as my akg Mics and it even comes with a hard case. Would recommend to anyone starting up a studio and are wanting their dollar to go as far as possible.

By: Bill White (habichson@adam.com.au) onThese little fellers are great. My daughter uses one on her djembe when she plays it live and I'e tried them on her drum kit (our recording kit) so I'm ready for blokes who bring loud snares in. I normally record drums with a couple of overheads, either valve or condenser, a condenser or valve mic in front of the kit slanted slightly toward the snare, and an iSK kick mic. The kit is a Pearl masters studio session with everything balanced for this kind of recording, allied to Paiste 200 series cymbals and a couple of dirty pressed crashes. It worked perfectly until a punk drummer brought in his too loud snare and stuffed everything up, so I got five of these to gain the snare and toms separately. He hasn't been back but I'm ready. They are almost a vocal quality mic. Just lack a little high end. Real good drum mics.
