Clarett+ Series Preamps
Clarett+ 8Pre gives you everything you need to effortlessly capture incredible sound in your studio. Up to two instrument or eight mic or line inputs, 10 line outputs, and ADAT expandability mean you have all the connectivity you need to easily record with your whole setup.

Housed in a 1 RU chassis, the Clarett+ 8Pre USB is equipped with two front-panel mic/instrument/line inputs with high headroom for recording hot pickups without distortion, and six rear-mounted mic/line inputs—each with a separate gain knob. The interface also provides six line-level outputs, two monitor outputs with anti-thump technology, a wordclock output, MIDI I/O, stereo S/PDIF I/O, and eight channels of ADAT I/O to expand your setup.

Many Features
The front panel features two 1/4" headphone outputs with independent volume controls. A pair of +48V phantom power switches allow you to turn on phantom power for condenser microphones on channels 1-4 and 5-8 respectively. A display with a six-segment multichannel LED meter provides visual feedback. There is also a master level control knob, a dim button, and a mute button.

Included Software
The Clarett+ 8Pre USB offers a comprehensive software package that includes the Focusrite Red Plug-In Suite with accurate models of the Red 2 equalizer and Red 3 compressor, the Brainworx bx_console Focusrite SC plug-in that emulates the sound of Focusrite ISA 110 Equalizer and ISA 130 Dynamics Modules, the Softube Time and Tone Bundle with reverb, delay, mastering, and distortion plug-ins, and more. Also provided is the Focusrite Control software that enables you to configure your routing and monitor mixes from Mac and Windows computers or iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices.
