Enya EA-X1 Series Folk Acoustic Guitars
Following the footsteps of Martin Guitar's historical HPL models, Enya has created an acoustic guitar with true resonance and tone, a great neck and low action that is quite comfortable to play whilst using sustainable and durable materials. Using the 41-inch Advanced Jumbo dreadnought design, made famous by Gibson in the 1930s, the X1 series has a focused and balanced tone that blends well with vocals and offers deep bass, a clear mid-range and highs that have a crispness and brilliance that shines through.
HPL - Sustainable Materials
With the number of restricted wood species increasing, such as rosewood, innovative guitar manufacturers are constantly striving to invent and utilise differing sustainable and tonal materials in guitar manufacturing. The Martin Guitar Company was the first to produce music instruments utilising HPL (High Pressure Laminate) in the body construction to great success. The Enya Guitar company has taken this technology to the next level, with their Koa-patterned HPL construction for the X1. Using this material means that the instrument is far less likely to affected by humidity and temperature changes, and can provide a much more even and consistent tone.
Richlite - Fingerboards of the Future
Originally developed over 70 years ago, Richlite has proven to be incredibly durable, extremely versatile and a highly sustainable material to use for fingerboards. After two decades of research and discussions with guitarists, Gibson determined that Richlite was not only the best alternative to woods like ebony, but was actually superior. It is also scratch, heat, and stain-resistant, and has better stability and tonal qualities. Many guitar players feel strings bend more smoothly on a Richlite fingerboard.
BT Technology - A Better Way to Adjust the Neck
The neck on the Enya X1 Series guitars is made of mahogany, and uses an incredibly stable system whereby adjusting the strap nut on the heel of the neck, as well as working near the nut, you can adjust the fingerboard quite flexibly. It is possible to easily swap the neck for another.

EM-X1
By: Ross Bousie on 28 September 2020I have had my Enya EM-X1 traveller Guitar for a couple of weeks now and I love it. It's playing action is great, nice and low straight out of the box but I fiddled a bit and got it slightly lower. The quality is outstanding and the finish is spot on. I can't believe how good it is at this price point, under $250 with a good padded cover and the accesories it comes with. The sound is a bit quiter than my old guitar but it is a very nice clean tone. I have ordered a transacoustic pick up with effects for it as this model does not come with one. I would recommend this guitar to a beginer who are after a very good guitar to start off with without a big dollar spend and I would reccomend this quitar to anyone who wants an outstanding quality and playing action guitar that is not to small but is ideal for playing on the couch or camping or anywhere. Because the body is made of HPL it is very robust and weather proof. So if you don't want to take your current baby bush or leave it in the back of your car but want a guitar that playes beutifully grab an Enya EM-X1 you can't go wrong for the small amount of money you will pay. Got to go and play my Enya I can't put it down. 4.5 stars for the guitar and 5 stars for value.

Robust construction but the post pickup sound was
By: Drue Mc Laughlin on 4 September 2020I bought this guitar for its robust construction..I thought that it had a dual functional flexible pick up system so that I could choose between acoustic or electric output..sadly this is not the case! and I will seek a suitable magnetic pickup to get the tone and edge that I want!..I was impressed with the neck, it is playable..bare sound was a little thin but I want it as an amped up item!..the bag and guitar was well presented with a lot of extras...now the hunt for a pickup!...this will ultimately be a travel guitar for ministry work.If I was more partial to the post pre-amp sound I would give it an easy 4 stars
