Designed in collaboration with Feng E, the Enya E6 FE Custom Solid Acacia Tenor Ukulele with AcousticPlus Pickup is a beautiful instrument. It features a solid Acacia top, solid maple back & sides, a radius ebony fretboard, planate abalone inlay, and AcousticPlus pickup.
Tenor Perfection!
The new E6 FE was designed by Enya and built to Feng E's specifications. This tenor size AcousticPlus® ukulele features a solid Acacia top, solid maple back & sides, a radius ebony fretboard with planate abalone inlay, gloss body, satin neck, and Enya AcousticPlus® pickup. The E6 FE is the result of years of development and collaboration between Feng E, a well-known young ukulele virtuoso, and Enya. The E6 FE combines the warmth and familiarity of an old ukulele with the fitness of a brand-new instrument, incorporating elements of Feng E and Enya's E6 and K6 models with an eye toward modern references.
Solid Woods
Taiwanese Acacia wood produces a prominent midrange with warm low frequencies and smooth audio quality. When played with force, the sound is sweet and has a strong dynamic range. After being broken in, the midrange becomes even more open and resonates more sensitively.
