Great Ukulele for the price
By: Andy on 14 March 2024I'm a guitarist and wanted to try the ukulele. At this price point I wasn't expecting much but was plesantly surprised. It was perfectly set up right out of the box. The action was perfect (2.5mm - 3mm at the 12th fret) and so was the intonation thanks to the compensated saddle. The fret ends were a bit rough but the ends were smooth and I don't expect to be bending much on a ukulele. The tuners work well enough. It sounds pretty decent too although I don't really have anything to compare it against. My only complaint is that the fretboard and bridge don't appear to be rosewood but rather some sort of sythetic material that lacks any woodgrain which is different from the description and pictures. But at this price that can be forgiven as functionally it makes little difference. I'll difinitely be considering Enya's higher end instruments when I decide to upgrade.
