The stand is made from a durable alluminium alloy, and features a larger tube diameter than some other models of stand. This coupled with a counterweight on the boom arm makes this stand ideal for hard hitting drummers using larger Cymbals.

Super sturdy, all the connections and memory locks move smoothly and lock tightly, the counter weight is really handy and overall they feel much more expensive than they are.

QUITE SIMPLY THE BEST STAND THERE IS
By: J. GOODWIN on 11 November 2020I purchased a pair of these about a decade ago to support one of my two sets of wind chimes. Had a devil of a time finding another pair. Thanks to SWAMP INDUSTRIES and their kind willingness to ship to America, my search is finally over. These are unbelievably high quality stands--ESPECIALLY for the price. The built-in memory locks at every juncture make tear-down and reassembly a snap. I have my wind chimes positioned over my cymbals (which are over my drums). The three-piece main stand and the additional boom allow me to accomplish this with absolutely no problems. The flat-black counter-weight on the boom is heavy enough to do its job, and is not simply there for 'aesthetics' like on some other stands. The polished chrome finish is beautiful on these. They are solidly built--right out of the box, you know you have a quality product in your hands. Would most CERTAINLY buy again and would DEFINITELY recommend to my fellow drummers.

I ordered three, and they both arrived, able to hold cymbals higher than I can reach with a very supportive structure. I'm very happy with this purchase, highly recommend, and WILL be buying again.
