AT803B Mini Omnidirectional Condenser Lapel Lavalier Microphone
This small, unobtrusive omnidirectional microphone is a great sound pickup solution for lecturers, stage/TV performers, and media presenters, as well as music instruments. It features an 80Hz high-pass filter, and is powered by phantom power or battery. It comes with the AT8531 power module, AT8419 clothing clip, AT8116 windscreen, battery, and a protective carrying case.
UniSteep Filter
The UniSteep filter provides a steep low-frequency attenuation to improve sound pickup without affecting voice quality. The integral 80Hz high-pass affects a low-end roll-off response, which reduces the pickup of low-frequency ambient noise (such as traffic, air-handling systems, etc.), room reverberation and mechanically coupled vibrations.
Many Related Accessories
As the use of a lavalier microphone can be diverse, there are many different accessories available. Apart from different sized foam windscreens and a fur sock, there are 6 different clips and clip-on adaptors, as well as an instrument mount for clamping onto percussion instruments and drums.
Omnidirectional Polar Pattern
This polar pattern provides maximum ambient pickup. It delivers flat response and freedom from proximity effect. Its low-mass diaphragm improves transient response and reduces handling/mechanical noise transfer. An omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound in a 360-degree radius – it is equally sensitive to sound at all angles. This makes omnidirectional microphones ideal for lavalier / lapel mics where the objective is a natural, open sound and the user can move his or her head without the volume varying.
